About Me

Hi, I am Fabu. I have been creating content since I was 7 yrs old as a form of therapy for speech delay, learning disabilities and ADHD. I’m NOT your regular 13-year-old teen… Why you may ask? The answer is pretty simple but a little bit complicated to explain so I will do my best…

I, along with over 6 million kids, just like me, have been diagnosed with ADHD and are trying our very best to cope with the symptoms that come from having ADHD.  Having ADHD means that our brain is wired completely different then everyone else’s. I wake up and go to sleep with ADHD, every day of my life because ADHD is something that does NOT go away and it’s something that every ADHDer needs to learn how to cope with every day.  The ONLY 2 forms of therapy for ADHD is behavior and medication. After seeing my brother, who was diagnosed with ADHD at a young age and is now a young adult, how he reacted to medication, my parents decided that behavior therapy was the best choice for me. This is why I use content creation as a form of therapy for ADHD every day.

I have been creating content for about 5 years now and I have been asked many times if I would describe myself just as a game streamer and my answer is NO. I am a gamer like most everyone is in today’s world. Who hasn’t picked up a controller or a mouse to play some video games in order to disconnect from reality or from their everyday stress? I’m no different than everyone in that aspect. I believe that what describes me the best is my passion to bring awareness and to educate others about ADHD and how I use content creation as a form of therapy to cope with my ADHD symptoms on a daily basis. I integrate educational info about ADHD during each and every one of my live streams, such as explain why the game I am playing is great for ADHDers like me and the benefits. Aside from gaming live streams I created an educational video series called ADHD with FABU where I talk about different ADHD related topics from my perspective based on my own experiences and what I have researched. Podcasting is another therapeutic tool I use and source of content. During the FabuRocks Season 1 Podcast I interviewed my parents and discussed the different therapeutic techniques they have used with me since I was 7 daily to help me cope with ADHD, what works and what hasn’t worked for me. Currently we are recording season 2 of the FabuRocks Podcast “Live Stream Therapy” after a successful Season 1 “YouTube Therapy”. Not many people know that my mom FabuMom has ADHD too. This is why we decided to create a Podcast, with the same title of the educational video series ADHD with FABU, where FabuMom and I will openly talk about the everyday struggles and rewards of having ADHD from the point of view of a teen content creator with ADHD and that of an accomplished adult ADHDer with a Masters in Mental health, a truly unique daughter – mother perspective. On top of all of this, I have been working for the past year on the creation of a book about guess what? YES! ADHD… and my experience as a teen that uses a variety forms of content creation from educational videos, podcasting, live streaming, gaming, writing and more as a form of therapy in order to cope with ADHD, every day.

Overall, that’s truly who I am… I’m a teenager that is trying to inspire and empower others ADHDers to have a better quality of life and I believe that I’m heading on the correct path.
